Ballot Access for the State Primary Election
Tuesday, June 11, 2024 Voters Residing in Congressional District 2 Unenrolled - May select either a Democratic or Republican ballot Democratic - Must receive a Democratic ballot Green Independent - No ballot selection party not participating in the State Primary Libertarian - No ballot selection party not participating in the State Primary No Labels - No ballot selection party not participating in the State Primary Republican - Must receive a Republican ballot * A voter must remain in a party for 3 months before withdrawing or changing enrollment to a new party. Voters that withdraw or change enrollment must do so at least 15 days before the election or will be ineligible to participate in the primary. Deadline to change party enrollment: Friday, May 24, 2024 |
The State of Maine allows residents to register to vote anytime, including the day of the election. Southwest Harbor residents may register to vote in person at the Town Clerk's office anytime; or when changing or renewing a driver's license at the Registry of Motor Vehicles at least 25 days prior to an election. |
